2 men shot in Edgewood found in crashed car in Point Breeze, county police say

Two men who were shot in Edgewood Saturday were found in their crashed vehicle in Pittsburgh, according to Allegheny County Police.

According to county police, a report of shots fired on Town Centre Drive near South Braddock Avenue in Edgewood was made to Allegheny County 911 at 4:25 p.m.

Pittsburgh police were notified of a crash at Penn and Braddock avenues in Point Breeze, about 1.5 miles away, a short time later.

Pittsburgh officers found the two men with gunshot wounds to their legs inside one of the wrecked vehicles. They were both taken to a hospital in stable condition, county police said.

County police believe the men were shot while inside their vehicle in Edgewood and fled into Pittsburgh, where they crashed.

Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call the county police tip line at 833-255-8477. Callers can remain anonymous.
