2 robbed East Pittsburgh convenience store, fled with cash

State police are looking for a man and woman who they say robbed a convenience store Wednesday in East Pittsburgh.

Troopers said the pair waited outside the 7-Eleven on Lincoln Highway before entering the store at 12:40 a.m. The man demanded cash from the clerk and went behind the counter to grab money, police said.

The clerk was not hurt. Police were trying to determine how much cash was taken.

Both suspects fled on foot. They were wearing masks.

The man was described by police as Black and was wearing a black hooded jacket, an olive green ski mask and red and white shoes. The woman was described by police as Black and was wearing a green jacket and boots. Anyone with information on their identities is asked to call the state police Pittsburgh station at 412-299-1607.
