Pittsburgh Regional Transit’s four Football Flyer bus routes will ferry passengers to the NFL Draft from throughout the region for no cost, the service says.
That’s thanks to the Pittsburgh Organizing Committee, a mix of public and private representatives who have helped plan for the NFL Draft, and The Pittsburgh Foundation.
The four routes will run from 10 a.m. to 1 a.m. each day of the draft, operating every 15 minutes Thursday and Friday and every 30 minutes Saturday. They’ll drop riders at stops near Point State Park in Downtown Pittsburgh and a stop near PNC Park on the North Shore, PRT said in a statement.
- The 99N route will begin at the McCandless Park and Ride (9700 McKnight Road), travel to the Ross Park and Ride (5204 Perry Highway) and will use the HOV lanes on the Parkway North (Interstate 279).
- The 99E route will begin at the Monroeville Mall and serve every station along the East Busway.
- The 99S route will begin at the Large Park and Ride (219 Peters Creek Road) in Jefferson Hills and serve every station along the South Busway.
- The 99W route will begin at the University Boulevard Park and Ride (9000 University Blvd.) near Pittsburgh International Airport in Moon, serve every stop on the West Busway, the Lower Station of the Duquesne Incline and the Lower Station of the Monongahela Incline.
