4 teens wounded in Duquesne shooting

Four teens are in stable condition after being shot Saturday night in Duquesne.

Allegheny County police are investigating the shooting reported at 9:40 p.m. at Allegheny County’s Orchard Park Housing Community.

According to county police, responding officers from the Duquesne and County Housing Authority police forces found the four gunshot victims in the vicinity of the 1000 block of Ridge Street and the 1000 block of Orchard Park Avenue.

Police said two boys and one girl, all 17, each suffered a wound to a lower extremity while a 16-year-old boy had a grazing wound to his head. All were taken to hospitals.

Detectives said an undetermined number of people opened fire while a large group of youths were gathered in a parking lot between Orchard Park Avenue and Ridge Street.

State police and officers from multiple surrounding communities also responded to help secure the scene.
