Here are some ways to spend the weekend in Pittsburgh.
Immersive Van Gogh
The Vincent Van Gogh exhibition — “Original Immersive Van Gogh Pittsburgh” — will celebrate its first weekend Friday through Sunday. Located at Lighthouse Artspace on Lacock Street on the North Side, the exhibit surrounds viewers with van Gogh’s paintings. Sounds are synced as the art appears.
Capacity is 190 people. Pittsburgh is one of 20 cities with the exhibit, which is co-produced by Impact Museums and Lighthouse Immersive. No two cities’ exhibits look alike.
The walls are 20 feet high on the 33,000-square-foot building.
Timed tickets are $29.99 to $99.99. Limited tickets are available.

Dirty Dozen
The Dirty Dozen Bicycle Ride is Saturday. This cycling challenge begins at 9 a.m. at the Rhododendron Pavilion in Highland Park. Even if you don’t participate, you can catch a glimpse of riders on 13 of the city’s steepest hills.
Look for cyclists on Logan Street in Millvale at 11:44 a.m., Sycamore Street in Mt. Washington around 12:43 p.m., and Canton Avenue in Beechview around 1:10 p.m.
Cost to participate is $60. There are several categories. The distance is 58.99 miles and a total ascent of approximately 6,000 feet. There will be an after-party at East End Brewing Co. in Larimer.

Bump in the night
The Pittsburgh Parks Conservancy’s family-friendly “Bump in the Night”’ event is from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday at Frick Park. It’s for children ages 3-9 years old.
The conservancy’s staff will teach the youngsters about what “goes bump in the night,” in the park. There will be a hike through the woods, a campfire and pumpkin picking. The event is sold out but a waiting list is available.

Martin Lawrence in town
Comedian Martin Lawrence will perform at 7:30 p.m. Friday at PPG Paints Arena for his “LIT AF” Tour. He will be joined on stage by Rickey Smiley, DeRay Davis, Michael Blackson, Jay Pharoah and Bruce Bruce. New talent includes Lil’ Rel, Lil’ Duval, Hannibal Burress and Tommy Davidson.

Taco and tequila
The Pittsburgh Taco, Beer, Tequila Festival is from noon to 5 p.m. Saturday at the Lots at Sandcastle in Homestead. Produced by TasteUSA Festival Management, there will be more than 15 taco vendors, a churros and chocolate pavilion, and samples of local wine, beer, tequila and cider. There will be four margarita bars, live entertainment and games.
Guests can buy a VIP ticket for an extra hour from 11 a.m. to noon.
