Allegheny County Health Department announced 90 new covid-19 cases and two deaths on Tuesday.
The county’s total number of cases stands at 11,358. The 90 new cases — 78 which were confirmed and 12 probable — were out of 926 test results.
New cases range in age from 11 months to 95 years with a median age of 27. The date of positive tests ranged from Sept. 7-14.

The age groups of the newly reported cases — 47 females and 43 males — are:
0-4: 2 5-12: 0 13-18: 1 19-24: 31 25-49: 31 50-64: 18 65+: 7One new death was reported on Tuesday: a person in their 70s who died on Sunday. Their death is associated with a long-term care facility, according to the county.
The department also added a death to its Monday total. A person in their 90s, who died on Thursday, was added to yesterday’s tally. The death was also associated with a long-term care facility. The department said there was error and the death was not reported Monday.
The county added three hospitalizations on Tuesday. Since March 14, there have been 1,060 hospitalizations in Allegheny County residents.
Pennsylvania’s covid-19 tracking website reports there are 51 residents of Allegheny County being treated for covid-19 in hospitals, with 8 of them on ventilators, as of Tuesday.
