Allegheny County Police: Man in critical condition after being shot in Mt. Oliver

A man was hospitalized in critical condition Tuesday afternoon after being shot in Mt. Oliver.

Allegheny County Police said they were notified of a shooting around 1:35 p.m. along the 400 block of William Street.

First responders found a man suffering from a gunshot wound. Police said he was transported to an area hospital in critical condition.

No information about possible suspects was released. The investigation is ongoing.

Anyone with information about the shooting is asked to call the county police tipline at 833-ALL-TIPS (833-255-8477). Callers can remain anonymous.
