Pittsburgh police seeking graffiti vandal leaving chicken tags
Pittsburgh police are searching for a graffiti vandal leaving images of oblong chickens across the South Side, including in the bathroom of a 22 nd Street bar.
The man struck Rugger’s Pub just after midnight Dec. 1 when he walked in, ordered a drink, then disappeared to the bathroom, according to police. He allegedly left the bathroom and then left the bar.
The strong odor coming from the bathroom tipped off patrols and staff to the freshly painted chickens on the bathroom wall and mirror, police said.
Investigators said similar graffiti tags have been found throughout the neighborhood.
The suspect is described as a 21-year-old man with long brown hair. Anyone with information is asked to call Detective Alphonso Sloan at 412-495-6052.
