Aquinas Academy athletes sign National Letter of Intent

Aquinas Academy students Lizzie Hardy; Emma Queen; Elizabeth Russell; and Mara Brak all signed letters of intent to play sports in college.

Four Aquinas Academy of Pittsburgh senior athletes signed National Letters of Intent to participate in collegiate sports on March 10.

Mara Brak will play tennis at Franciscan University, Elizabeth Hardy will play lacrosse at The College of Wooster, Elizabeth Russell will play basketball at Denison University and Emma Queen will play field hockey and ice hockey at Bates College.

A signing ceremony was held in the gymnasium in front of the entire senior class. Mike Flynn, high school co-director, introduced each athlete who took turns signing their letters of intent with parents, coaches, and Jen DeWitt, athletic director and field hockey coach, present.
