Aquinas Academy graduates 34 students, who netted over $7 million in scholarship awards

Aquinas Academy of Pittsburgh graduated 34 students on May 31.

A baccalaureate Mass in the chapel preceded the ceremony, which was held in the Rhodora J. Donahue building on campus.

According to Peter Blume Esq., president of the Hampton school, the Class of 2025 received 112 acceptances to more than 60 colleges and scholarship awards of over $7 million.

This year’s valedictorian, Clara Yuo, will attend Dartmouth College, and salutatorian John J. Ortiz is headed to Duke University.

The school’s leadership wishes the graduates great success and continued closeness to Christ and their Catholic faith in the years ahead.

The names of the following 23 graduates were provided: Grace Bond, Ariana Buchanan, Brynn Burnsworth, Anne Dolan, Kenneth Fort, Lucy Fowler, Jacob Guillen, Nadine Hokaj, Violet Johnson, Ella Labate, Samuel McGowan, Claire McMann, John Ortiz, Alice Rothfus, Lily Santucci, William Scioscia, Zoe Solomond, Thomas Spiller, Harold Tarr, Nolan Thiel, Shayla Thimons, Nicholas Urban and Clara Yuo.
