A Clairton man wanted in connection with a fatal shooting Aug. 25 was arrested Thursday after a short standoff with law enforcement in McKeesport, the Allegheny County Police said.

The suspect, Edwin Wiley-Biggs, 42, was arrested by the Allegheny County Police Department’s SWAT team when he peacefully came out of a residence in the 700 block of Strawberry Way, police said.

Wiley-Biggs initially refused police commands to come out, prompting a response from the SWAT team, police said.

Wiley-Biggs faces charges of criminal homicide and illegally possessing a gun. He was being held in the Allegheny County Jail on Thursday pending his arraignment.

Biggs was wanted in connection with the Aug. 25 shooting death of Victor “Vic” Musgrove, 51, in the 800 block of Miller Avenue, police said. The victim, whose vehicle crashed in the 600 block of Miller Avenue, was found shot in the chest at 10:45 p.m., police said.

Musgrove had a barber shop in Downtown Pittsburgh, according to Tribune-Review news partner WTAE-TV.
