Two candidates have the opportunity to unseat Bethel Park School Board incumbents in November.

Liz Avon (2,498 votes) and Danielle Gosnell (2,476) earned ballot spots in the general election with the top totals among Democrats in the May 16 primary, according to unofficial Allegheny County results.

Others on the Democratic ballot will be current board members Kimberly Walsh Turner (2,064 votes), James H. Modrak (2,006) and Darren McGregor (1,955).

Modrak (2,176 votes), Walsh Turner (1,959) and McGregor (1,955) earned November ballot spots for both parties by finishing in the top five among Republicans. Incumbents Barry Christenson (2,028) and Vincent Scalzo (1,947) join them on the GOP ticket.

Candidates Andy Cronican and Damian Werts did not gain enough votes for the general election. All primary candidates ran as both Democrats and Republicans.
