A man missing since Aug. 30 was found dead in the Monongahela River Wednesday, officials said.

The body of Jordan Coles, 29, of Pittsburgh, was found at about 10:50 a.m., according to the Allegheny County Medical Examiner’s office.

Pittsburgh police earlier this week issued an alert seeking help finding Coles after he was last seen in the South Side.

The incident is under investigation.
