Body of missing Pittsburgh man found in Monongahela River

Jordan Coles, 29, of Pittsburgh, was found dead on Sept. 2 in the Monongahela River.

A man missing since Aug. 30 was found dead in the Monongahela River Wednesday, officials said.

The body of Jordan Coles, 29, of Pittsburgh, was found at about 10:50 a.m., according to the Allegheny County Medical Examiner’s office.

UPDATE: Jordan Coles was discovered deceased on 09/02/20.

Cause and manner of death will come from the Medical Examiner's office.

Pittsburgh police earlier this week issued an alert seeking help finding Coles after he was last seen in the South Side.

The incident is under investigation.
