Boy shot in Clairton on Friday night in critical condition

A boy who was shot in Clairton late Friday night was reported hospitalized in critical condition, the Allegheny County Police homicide unit said.

Police said they were notified of the shooting at Sixth Street and Large Avenue at about 10:40 p.m., police said. They were assisting Clairton police in the investigation.

Anyone with information concerning this incident is asked to call the County Police Tip Line 1-833-ALL-TIPS. Callers can remain anonymous.

Additional details were not available early Saturday morning.
