Rocco Cozza has been named a finalist for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s Man & Woman of the Year.

Pledging to raise awareness and funding for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, Carnegie attorney Rocco Cozza of the Cozza Law Group, PLLC, has been chosen as a nominee to represent Pittsburgh in this year’s Man & Woman of the Year All-Star competition presented by The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.

The 10-week national competition kicked off March 11 and will help to generate donations in honor of local blood cancer survivors through LLS.

As counsel, Cozza has advised businesses and business owners on appropriate entity formations, contract drafting, commercial transactions, mergers and acquisitions, employment matters, HR policy creation, intellectual property matters, as well as provided general business consulting services in various industries.

He earned his J.D. from Duquesne University School of Law, where he was a recent decisions editor for the Duquesne Law Review. He received a masters degree in applied business from Waynesburg University and his undergraduate degree in psychology from Washington & Jefferson College. Cozza is also a licensed PA Title Agent and co-founder of 24-7 Settlement Services, LLC.

In addition to practicing law, Cozza frequently speaks at conferences on the topics of leadership, motivation and the art of kindness in business. In January 2019, he stepped on a TEDx stage to share his talk called “Radical Kindness: Why the Un-Billable Hour Matters Most in Business.” He sits on various non-profit boards and is currently the president of the board of directors of Alpha House, Inc., a behavioral rehabilitation center in Pittsburgh.

Cozza spends his free time with his wife Laura and three children, Gabe, Ellie and Malina.
