Carnegie and Bridgeville area high schools are preparing for in-person graduation ceremonies.

Chartiers Valley High School’s graduation will take place at Chartiers Valley High School Stadium at 7 p.m. June 2. More than 230 members of the class of 2021 will receive their diplomas in front of friends and family.

“We will be using both sides of the high school stadium this year to provide extra room for families in the audience,” said the district’s director of communications and strategic partnerships Mikaela Duckstein. “The graduates will be split into two large groups based on the beginning letter of their last names. This allows us to accommodate more guests while maintaining social distancing.”

Carlynton Junior-Senior High School’s class of 2021 commencement ceremony will take place 7 p.m. June 4 at Honus Wagner Stadium.

South Fayette School District will hold its commencement ceremony at 7 p.m. June 11 at South Fayette Stadium. Nearly 260 will graduate. In case of rain, the ceremony will be held on June 12 or June 13.
