Traveling glass recycling bin to be in South Fayette
PRC’s traveling glass recycling bin will be at the South Fayette Township Municipal Building, 515 Millers Run Road, Nov. 28-Dec. 3. All colors of glass bottles, jars and jugs will be accepted. The following items will not be accepted: cut glass, glass bakeware, mirrors, porcelain and ceramics, stemware, light bulbs, televisions and window glass. The location is under video surveillance. Myasthenia Gravis Association fundraiser
The Myasthenia Gravis Association of Western PA is hosting a virtual wine tasting/painting party to benefit MGA’s free patient support services.
The virtual event will be held 7-8:30 p.m. Dec. 10. For a $50 donation to MGA, participants will receive a link to participate in the virtual holiday paint and sip event, the supplies needed to create their own holiday snowflake wreath and two bottles of wine from Kavic Winery in Carnegie. The creation of the holiday snowflake wreath will be led by art therapist Kristy Walter, and the wine tasting will be led by Michael and Patricia Kavic from Kavic Winery. Joy-Thru festivities Dec. 4 at Fairview Park
Drive through Fairview Park 6-9 p.m. Dec. 4 to see holiday lights, live reindeer, carolers, business booths, ice princesses, Christmas tree, Santa Claus and more. Tickets are required.
