Easter Egg Sale & Workshop
The Ukrianian Orthodox Church in Carnegie will host its 53rd annual Ukrainian Easter Egg Sale 11 a.m.-4 p.m. March 28.
This event will feature more than 1,200 Pysanky Easter eggs, exquisite goose and ostrich eggs, hand painted wooden eggs, hand-crafted items from Ukraine, basket raffles, door prizes, bake sale, pre-packaged kielbasa and butter-lambs. The kitchen will be open, serving a variety of Ukrainian foods for take-out or outdoor dining.
Three church tour discussions will take place at noon, 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. Join Rev. John Charest in the Church for a 15- minute talk. At the end of each talk, a Pysanky of $10 value will be raffled off to one of the participants in the talk.
• Learn the traditional art of Ukrainian Pysanky Easter Eggs using beeswax and dyes on March 20. There are two sessions, 11 a.m.-2 p.m. and 3-6 p.m. Open to all ages at Sts. Peter & Paul Ukrainian Orthodox Church, 220 Mansfield Blvd. in Carnegie. Cost is $20 and reservations must be made for all classes.

Road Closure
Thoms Run Road is expected to close near the intersection with Forsythe Road in Collier Township beginning at 9 a.m. March 15.
Traffic will be detoured using Prestley Road, Washington Avenue (Route 50), Millers Run Road (Route 50), and Presto-Sygan Road.
The closure, which is expected to end in May 2021, is required for the replacement of Chartiers Creek Bridge No. 23.
Bunny Hop Trail
Registration for the Bunny Hop Trail is open for South Fayette residents. For non-residents, registration opens March 19. One free time-slotted ticket is required per car. The Bunny Hop Trail will be held March 31.
Participants will be able to drive through Fairview Park, following giant Easter eggs along the way to find the Easter Bunny. This event provides children with a gift and a visit from the Easter bunny from the safety of their car.
There will also be a free virtual event held March 31 at 1 p.m. on Facebook Live from the South Fayette Township’s Facebook page.

In-Person Summer Playground Camp
Enjoy park playgrounds, crafts, sports, games and more at South Fayette Township’s nine-week Summer Playground Camp for children ages 5-12. The camp will be held from June 14-Aug. 13.
Masks and daily health screenings are required of all staff members and campers.
Campers can choose to attend half-day sessions, which are $10 per session, per child or full-day sessions, which are $20 per day.

Carnegie Boys and Girls Club

Drive-up bingo
Play bingo from the warmth and safety of your car 1-2 p.m. March 17 at the South Fayette Township Building Senior Center parking lot. Bingo boards are provided, with numbers broadcast over your car radio. This program is free, with great prizes. Participants must stay in vehicles at all times.
