Lane restrictions coming this weekend along Parkway West for bridge inspection

Plans to inspect bridges along the Parkway West in Scott Township over the weekend will result in traffic restrictions, PennDOT announced.

Crews will be inspecting the I-376 bridge over Route 50, several ramps leading to the highway as well as Allegheny County Port Authority’s West Busway in Scott.

The single-lane restrictions will occur in both directions along the Parkway West from 6 a.m. to noon on Aug. 28 and 29 at the Carnegie (Exit 65) interchange.

The restrictions will only be in place one direction at a time, according to the transportation agency.

The inspections are being conducted by Gibson-Thomas Engineering Co. of Wexford.
