Scott’s board of commissioners reelected its leadership at a Monday, Jan. 5 meeting.

Stacey Altman was selected to serve her third term as commissioners’ president, and Nick Seibel was named vice president.

“We have had a good run together,” Altman said. “Our goal is always the same: try to keep costs down and control spending. We are all very determined to do whatever it takes to not raise taxes and work together for the good of the township.

“We recently did a strategic management plan and are working to revamp personnel and departments. We are looking for succession plans and efficiency.”

Newly elected board members include Donald Giudici, Jane Sorcan, Michelle Sedlak and Samuel Dalfonso.

Also at the meeting, commissioners reappointed Denise Fitzgerald as manager/secretary and treasurer; John Vogel and the Tucker Arensburg law firm as solicitor; and Marie Hartman of Lennon, Smith, Souleret Engineering as engineer.

Angela Wateska was named vacancy board chair.

Seibel was named township representative to the South Hills Area Council of Governments’ Board of Directors and its Franchising Authority Board.

Sorcan, Altman and Fitzgerald were named alternates.
