A patron at a Pittsburgh doughnut shop walked away with more than some sweet pastries last week.

According to Pennsylvania Lottery officials, a Cash 5 with Quick Cash ticket sold at the Donut Connection on Brownsville Road in Carrick matched all five numbers in Friday’s drawing.

The holder of the ticket will have one year to claim the jackpot prize — $400,000, less withholding.

Lottery officials said the winner can’t be identified until the prize is claimed and the ticket is validated.

The shop will receive a $500 bonus for selling the winning ticket.

A staff member at the shop, who on Monday was unaware of the jackpot winner, said a $5,000 prize was the previous record for a winning ticket sold at the location.

More than 15,000 other Cash 5 with Quick Cash ticket holders also won prizes in the drawing.

Players win lesser prize amounts for matching two, three or four winning numbers in the main Cash 5 game.

Chances of winning the Cash 5 jackpot prize are 1 in 962,598. The chances of winning any prize in the main Cash 5 game are about 1 in 10.5.

Players have a 1 in 4.71 chance to instantly win $2 or $6 in the related Quick Cash game.
