Cash 5 winning ticket worth $825,298 sold in Bridgeville

Someone who bought a Pennsylvania Lottery ticket in Bridgeville is going home richer.

A winning Cash 5 ticket worth $825,298 was sold Feb. 20 at CoGo’s along Station Street, according to Lottery officials.

The ticket matched all five numbers — 8-24-34-39-43.

Store owners will get a $5,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket.

Winners are identified after prizes are claimed and Cash 5 tickets expire one year from the drawing date.

There were more than 38,700 other tickets that won smaller prizes in the drawing.

There have been several Cash 5 winners in recent months across the region.

On Jan. 9, a $195,000 winning Cash 5 ticket was sold at Thomas’ General Store along Saltsburg Road in Washington Township. That ticket was one of two that won the $390,000 jackpot. The other winning ticket was purchased at Rutter’s in York County.

On Dec. 31, a Cash 5 ticket worth $125,000 and matching all five numbers was sold at a Penn Hills convenience store and on Dec. 19, a Cash 5 ticket worth $200,000 was sold at a Gulf station in Fayette County.

Anyone with a winning ticket can contact the nearest Lottery office for instructions or call 1-800-692-7481.
