Hunt for eggs April 1
Bridgeville’s Easter egg hunt is scheduled for 11 a.m. April 1 at Chartiers Park.
This is a free community event. Be sure to bring a container to hold all the eggs that the children will find.
Women’s club meets
The South Hills Women’s Club will meet at 7:30 p.m. April 11 at Scott Park Lodge, Scott Township.
After a brief meeting, this month’s presenter, Jack Puglisi, will give a short introduction into the extraordinary life of Queen Elizabeth I.

5k run/walk set
The 16th annual Carnegie Volunteer Fire & Rescue Bureau 5k run/walk is scheduled for April 29 at the Carnegie municipal building, One Veterans Way.
Registration fee is $20 by April 1 and $25 afterward. For children under 10 and Carlynton students, registration is $10.

Ukrainian Easter egg events
Sts. Peter & Paul Ukrainian Orthodox Church, 220 Mansfield Blvd., Carnegie, will host its 55th Annual Ukrainian Easter egg sale on April 2. The kitchen will be open, serving a variety of Ukrainian foods.
Festival hours are from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Fr. John Charest will give church tours at noon, 1 and 2.
College Club meets
The College Club of Carnegie will meet on Saturday, April 1, at Bella’s on Fort Couch (formerly DeLallo’s Restaurant), 91 Fort Couch Road, Bethel Park.
A social will be held at 11:30 a.m. and lunch served at noon. “Pennsylvania Trivia” will be the theme for the meeting.
Chinese auction items and a 50-50 raffle to benefit the club’s scholarship fund will be offered. Women with post-secondary degrees are invited to call Therese Condit, membership chairperson, at 412-279-4458 for more information.
Art show at Galleria
A Spring Art Show is scheduled from April 14-23 at the Galleria of Mt. Lebanon, 1500 Washington Road. Show hours are 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Saturday and noon to 5 p.m. Sunday.
Participating are groups including South Arts Pittsburgh, Bethel Art Guild, McMurray Art League, Photographic Section and Primary Colors. Artwork and photos are framed and ready for display at home or as a gift. Cards and matted prints also are available. Cash, checks or credit cards are accepted.
