Help replace banners
Bridgeville Borough Parking Authority and Bridgeville American Legion Post 54 worked together to form the Military Banner Program.
The program allows families to honor their current members of the military and military veterans by making and placing banners throughout the borough.
Sadly, these banners are not made to last forever. Many of them are in dire need of replacement due to normal wear and tear from being out in the elements.
Residents and members of the business community are asked for donations to help pay for a portion of the cost for replacement banners. Please make your check payable to “Bridgeville Borough” and note “Military Banner” in the Memo Line. Mail or deliver your donations to Bridgeville Parking Authority, 304 Hickman St., Bridgeville, Pa. 15017.
Troop banners are on display from Memorial Day through Veterans Day throughout the Borough and online at troopbanners.com/bridgeville.
The Bridgeville Memorial Day parade is scheduled to start at 10 a.m. May 29 and proceed from the American Legion Post, 325 Station St., to Melrose Cemetery, 3064 Washington Pike.
