Driver arrested after car crashes into home in Pittsburgh's Hill District

Pittsburgh police are investigating after a driver lost control of a stolen vehicle and struck a home in the Hill District on Saturday night.

Public Safety spokesperson Amanda Mueller said officers were tracking a stolen vehicle when, around 10:30 p.m., the driver veered into the back side of a home in the 300 block of Elmore Street.

No one was injured, and the driver was arrested at the scene.

City firefighters and the Department of Permits, Licenses and Inspections also responded to the crash to inspect the damage. The investigation is ongoing.

No further details were released.
