A Pittsburgh woman was jailed on federal drug charges after a drug bust by city police Thursday in Homewood North.

Monique Mathews, 25, is charged with possession with intent to distribute cocaine, according to court documents.

City detectives arrested Matthews and seized more than 800 grams of cocaine, as well as quantities of heroin and fentanyl and two stolen guns, while serving a search warrant at about 6 a.m. at a residence in the 7100 block of Race St.

A SWAT team assisted at the scene.

In court documents, police said Matthews was detained after emerging from the third floor. According to police, Matthews admitted that items found inside of a third-floor bedroom belonged to her.

Police said the items included: About 30 grams of crack cocaine and an additional 750 grams of cocaine in a bag; nine bricks of heroin/fentanyl inside a box; a tube containing 44 bundles of heroin/fentanyl and about 102 grams of heroin/fentanyl in four baggies; a digital scale with white residue; a .40-caliber handgun and a .380-caliber handgun.

She was placed in the Allegheny County Jail. A video detention hearing is set for Tuesday.
