A man was found dead from multiple gunshot wounds in Pittsburgh’s East Liberty neighborhood on Saturday afternoon, according to Pittsburgh police.

Police said they were alerted to a shooting at 4:22 p.m. at the corner of Penn and North Highland avenues, a busy intersection in the heart of the neighborhood’s business district.

Witnesses told police that a man, dressed in black, walked up and shot into the vehicle from the passenger side. The man then fled.

Another man, believed to be in his 60s, was found in the driver’s seat, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to the head and neck. He was dead at the scene.

Police said they are reviewing footage from the multiple cameras in the area. The department’s Violent Crime Unit is investigating.
