A Gibsonia woman died in a crash Friday afternoon along Route 8 in Richland.
The Allegheny County Medical Examiner’s Office identified the crash victim as Cinnamon L. Gilch, 53.
The crash occurred near the Walmart store at around 1 p.m., an Allegheny County Public Safety supervisor said. The road was closed in both directions between Kenneth Drive and Vista Vue Drive.
The highway had reopened by about 8 p.m.
A spokesperson for the Northern Regional Police Department, which serves Richland, could not be reached for comment Friday night.
