Final Bradford Woods Council seat comes in at a tie

Natalie Beneviat

The final winner of one of four seats on Bradford Woods Council could be determined by write-in votes.

Unofficial results for the Nov. 2 election from the Allegheny County Division of Elections show two candidates locked in a tie.

Six candidates were in the running for four council seats. The top three vote getters were Republicans Victoria Laird Pongrace, Kevin Rhule and Daniel Bo Dimond. However, Republican David A. Baldonieri and Independent Charles C. Coltharp came in at a tie for the fourth seat.

According to the Elections Division, the process of counting write-in votes is a manual one and was not reflected in the vote totals as of Nov. 2.

All results are unofficial until they have been certified by the county Elections Division.
