People gather outside the scene of a fire Tuesday evening at a Robert Morris University dormitory.

A fire was contained to the roof of a Robert Morris University dormitory Tuesday in Moon, according to a university spokesman.

Firefighters were called at about 8:30 p.m. to G Tower of Washington Hall.

No one was injured, but some students will be provided with alternative accommodations as the fire is investigated, said RMU spokesman Brian Edwards.

He said the fire was contained within minutes after firefighters arrived.

The cause of the fire is still being investigated.

Because this week is spring break for RMU students, Edwards aid there was limited occupancy in this building at the time of the fire.
