Aspinwall police led children on a bike ride through the borough and mingled with families at a movie night at Ben Killian’s Field on Aug. 15.

It was all part of a Party in the Park celebration shortly before the start of the new school year.

Mayor Joe Noro said about 30 families took part in the ride and more than 100 area families enjoyed pizza with the police at the movie night.

Aspinwall officers also made free popcorn and had free drinks available, as well as handed out free police badge stickers and police department temporary tattoos.
