Fox Chapel Area High School hosts blood drive
Fox Chapel Area High School is hosting a community blood drive on April 13 in the large group instruction room from 7:30 a.m.-1 p.m.
People 16 and older are encouraged to donate blood.
To schedule an appointment, go to: https://donateblood.centralbloodbank.org/. Those who have donated with Vitalant or Central Blood Bank before should choose “Donor Login.” Those who have not should choose “New Donor.”
At the “Schedule your Appointment Today” screen, scroll down using the far right scroll bar and enter group code HS010025 to schedule your donation.
Those who cannot schedule online, should call 412/209-7000, or contact Rachel Machen in the high school guidance office at 412/967-2445, or email rachel_machen@fcasd.edu. Donors are strongly encouraged to make appointments, but walk ins are welcome.
Anyone donating blood at a local donor center can ask for the donation to count toward Fox Chapel Area’s total by specifying the high school’s code, HS010025.
