Graduation requirements for Fox Chapel Area seniors could be amended following review by the school board.

Members will meet at 7 p.m. Monday for an agenda study session at the Hartwood Elementary School library, 3730 Saxonburg Boulevard.

The board will discuss an increase from 0 to 0.5 credits in college and career essentials and a decrease from 3.0 to 2.5 credits in health, safety and physical education credits.

The total credit requirements for graduation would remain at 27. The change is credited to an increased focus on college, career and industry-based education.

The board will meet at 7 p.m. Feb. 11 for its regular voting meeting.
