In brief: news from Fox Chapel Adult Education and more
Fox Chapel Area Adult Education is offering two separate classes of free CPR training for Sharpsburg residents 18 and older.
The first class will be March 4 from 9:30-11:30 a.m. at Ketchup City Creative, 612 Main St., and the second on March 6 from 6-8 p.m. at the Sharpsburg Community Library, 1212 Main St.

The Rotary Club of the Fox Chapel Area is hosting a panel discussion March 8 as part of its inaugural event recognizing women who are making a difference in our communities.
The event is open Rotary members, their guests and the public and will be held at the Center for Organ Recovery & Education, 204 Sigma Drive in the RIDC Park, O’Hara. Doors open at 6 p.m.. A World Day of Prayer ecumenical service is being conducted March 3 at St. Matthews AME Zion Church at the corner of Thorn and Walnut Street in Sewickley at 1 p.m.

Sealarks Women’s Group will meet March 8 at 1 p.m. at Memorial Park Church, 8800 Peebles Road, McCandless.
This group provides Christian fellowship and social activity for women alone – widowed, divorced or never married. All women alone are welcome to attend.
