The Aspinwall shade tree commission put 28 gator bags on young street trees to help them through the rest of the summer.

Anyone who sees a tree with a gator bag near their house is asked to fill it with water at least once a week. The trees need 15 gallons of water a week.

The bag will slowly empty in a few hours.
