The Sharpsburg Volunteer Fire Department hosts a Good Friday fish fry on April 15 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the borough building at 1611 Main St.
It is takeout and delivery only. Deliveries end at 5 p.m.
Pre-orders can be made on April 14 from 6-8 p.m.
Fish dinners are $11 and include cod, coleslaw and fries. Shrimp dinners are $9 and come with the same sides.
Other menu items include fish sandwich $8; shrimp basket $6; pierogies $3; french fries $3; coleslaw $2, and drinks $1.

Indiana Township
The Allegheny County Parks Department egg hunt is scheduled for April 16 at Hartwood Amphitheater. There will be sessions at 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. for children 4 and younger; and 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. for 5 and older. Hunts begin 15 minutes after each time listed.
The cost for Allegheny County residents is $5; non-residents, $7. There will be a face painter, balloon artist and crafts. Reservations for children are required at alleghenycounty.us/special-events.
Fox Chapel
Volunteers are needed for Fox Chapel’s Clean-Up Day April 23.
Participants are encouraged to meet in the McCahill Park parking lot at 10:30 a.m. to pick up gloves, garbage bags and safety vests. No end time was listed.
The event is the borough’s part in the Great American Cleanup.

The Cooper-Siegel Community Library welcomes author Robert McCutcheon on April 16 from 1-2 p.m.
He will discuss his latest book, “Suffer the Children: Novellas, Short Stories and a Parable”.

O’Hara Township
The Trillium Garden Club will conduct its annual plant sale on May 14 at O’Hara Community Park from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Annuals, perennials, herbs, hanging baskets and vegetable plants will be available for purchase.
Credit cards, checks and cash will be accepted.
The club is also raffling off a watercolor painting on the day of the plant sale.
