O’Hara Township Police are investigating a series of car break-ins overnight from August 4.-5.

O’Hara police are asking for the public’s help as they investigate a “series of illegal vehicle entries” into unlocked vehicles in the township.

O’Hara Police Superintendent Jay Davis said that at least 10 vehicles were entered on the west side of the township.

The vehicles were targeted between Monday and Tuesday.

A social media post by O’Hara Township Police on Wednesday reminded residents to lock their vehicles and not to leave items such as key fobs, personal identification, firearms, cash, jewelry or any other valuable items inside vehicles.

Davis said there are no suspects at this time.

Residents with information or video surveillance footage are asked to call the police department at 412-784-1784, ext. 203.
