Motorists who travel Route 28 near O’Hara will encounter lane restrictions this week.

PennDOT announced today that overhead sign inspections will take place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday.

Crews from Mackin Engineering Company and the Sofis Rigging Company will conduct the inspections. They will work Tuesday along Route 8 near the 62nd Street Bridge, in each direction between Butler Street and Route 28.

On Wednesday, crews will be near the Highland Park Bridge in each direction between Washington Avenue and Route 28.

Work is weather permitting. For more on local road conditions, visit 511PA.com.
