Shady Side Academy's class of 2025 has impressive future plans

Shady Side Academy’s class of 2025 included 122 graduates who will study at 90 different colleges and universities in 37 states.

The academy’s chief marketing officer Diana Toole said that 95% of the students will attend institutions that have been ranked among the nation’s top colleges and universities by U.S. News and World Report, and that members of the class were admitted to Ivy League schools at twice the global average acceptance rate.

Those achievements were celebrated the morning of June 7 on the school’s McKelvy Field at Michael J. Farrell Stadium.

Shady Side parent and president and CEO-elect of Fizerv Mike Lyons, addressed the class.

The ceremony was also live-streamed and is available online at shadysideacademy.org/commencement.
