The following programs are hosted virtually by Cooper-Siegel and Sharpsburg Community libraries.

• Let’s Talk Photos and Memories, 7 to 8 p.m. June 16. Have a few photos on hand to share on camera and chat about. Attendees will learn more about each other and share fun, sweet and important moments from their pasts. Register online to receive a Zoom link.

• Chapter Book Read Aloud, 4:30 to 4:45 p.m. June 16. Join a librarian for three chapters of “Sideways Stories from Wayside School” by Louis Sachar. Watch on the library’s Youtube channel or view anytime by clicking on the link on the website under Together @ Home Programs.

• Houseparty Game Night for Teens, 5:30 to 7 p.m. June 16. Get on the Houseparty app to play games. Find host Brad on Houseparty: Brad W. @ brmc22

• Easy Phrases in Spanish, 7 to 7:30 p.m. June 17. Join the group twice a month for a half-hour chat to enrich vocabulary which will be used to build sentences. Basic to intermediate Spanish are welcomed. Register online to receive a Zoom link.

• All About Bats with Allegheny County Parks, 11 to 11:30 a.m. June 17. This program seeks to shed light on common myths and legends surrounding bats, as well as familiarize audiences with local bat species and what role they play in the night skies. Ages 7 and up.

• Speculative Fiction Book Club, 7 to 8 p.m. June 17. Join for stimulating discussions on science fiction, fantasy, horror, superhero fiction and dystopian fiction. • Let’s Talk Movies, 7 to 8 p.m. June 18. Participants will talk about what they’ve been watching, how they’ve been watching or binging during quarantine, what they’re looking forward to seeing and about current favorites.

• STEAM at Home, 4:30 to 5 p.m. June 18. Watch on the Sharpsburg Community Library Facebook page. Activities are geared for pre-K to fifth grade.

• Meditation LIVE on YouTube, 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. June 18. The Pittsburgh Buddhist Center offers its weekly meditation, with programs related to well-being. This series is designed for beginners. Our guide is a Buddhist monk and the meditation techniques taught are secular and appropriate for all adults regardless of beliefs or religious affiliations. No need to register.
