Water main break repaired in Aspinwall, residents advised to boil their water
Repairs to a water main break have been made and the water is back on in Aspinwall, according to a post on the borough’s Facebook page.
However, residents in the 200 block of Delafield, including the Lexington Ave. condos and 415 Delafield, are under a water boil advisory. All affected residents will be notified when the water boil advisory is lifted.
The water main break occured Saturday morning along Delafield Avenue at Second Street near UPMC St. Margaret hospital.
Aspinwall officials had to wait on a public works crew to fix the break, which was under control by about 3:30 p.m.
Bottled water was delivered to residents while the repairs were being made.
