A funeral Mass for slain McKeesport police Officer Sean Sluganski will take place at noon Tuesday at St. Albert the Great Church in Baldwin, funeral home officials said.

Visitation is noon to 8 p.m. Sunday and 2 to 9 p.m. Monday at John F. Slater Funeral Home, 4201 Brownsville Road in Brentwood.

Sluganski, 32, of McKeesport was shot and killed Monday after police said he responded to a 911 call involving Johnathan Jermia Morris, 31, on the city’s Wilson Street. Another city officer, Chuck Thomas, also was shot in the incident but survived, police said.

According to an obituary, Sluganski was the fiance of Chelsea Cancilla and father of Haven Sluganski. He is also survived by his mother, Terri, two sisters, nieces, aunts, uncles and his dogs, Sigg and Knox.
