Gas line replacement work to restrict traffic on Cumberland Road in McCandless

Traffic will be restricted through early November on a section of Cumberland Road in McCandless so crews can conduct gas line replacement work.
PennDOT is alerting motorists of lane restrictions starting next week on Cumberland Road in McCandless during work to replace a gas line.
The work is scheduled for 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. weekdays, beginning Monday, Oct. 13, an lasting until early November, weather permitting.
Single-lane alternating traffic will be in place on Cumberland Road at these locations:
• Intersection with Guenevere Drive
• Between Lancelot and Plateau drives
Crews from D&M Contracting Inc. are conducting the gas line replacement work for Peoples Gas.
Motorists are advised to use caution while navigating the roadway.
