PennDOT is alerting motorists of lane restrictions starting next week on Cumberland Road in McCandless during work to replace a gas line.
The work is scheduled for 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. weekdays, beginning Monday, Oct. 13, an lasting until early November, weather permitting.
Single-lane alternating traffic will be in place on Cumberland Road at these locations:
• Intersection with Guenevere Drive
• Between Lancelot and Plateau drives
Crews from D&M Contracting Inc. are conducting the gas line replacement work for Peoples Gas.
Motorists are advised to use caution while navigating the roadway.
