Hampton Township’s annual farmers market will return on July 1, 2020 with several measures in place to protect patrons and vendors from exposure to coronavirus. The market operates in Hampton Community Park on Wednesday’s from 3 to 7 p.m. through mid-October.

Hampton Township’s annual farmers market is scheduled to return July 1 with a new layout that promotes social distancing and other precautions to protect patrons and vendors.

The rain-or-shine market is set up in Hampton Community Park from 3 to 7 p.m. on Wednesdays through the middle of October.

The farmers market will be following guidelines from the Allegheny County Department of Health, which includes a “one-way” flow for foot traffic to minimize contact with other shoppers.

Other measures include:

• Face masks worn by shoppers and vendors

• Frequent use of hand sanitizer

• Limiting the number of shoppers at one time

• No on-site sampling

The park is located at 3101 McCully Road.
