Homestead business owner accused of selling narcotics from business
Allegheny County police allege a Homestead business owner was selling narcotics.
Detectives with the Allegheny County Police Department’s Narcotics Unit over the last several weeks received information about narcotics sales from The Dankery Social Club, a business in the 100 block of East Eighth Avenue in Homestead, officials said.
While delivering a search warrant on the business on Friday, detectives found 3.5 pounds of marijuana, THC gummies, vapes and wax, as well as 250 grams of psilocybin and two firearms, one of which was stolen.
Police made multiple charges against the business owner, Larry Jackson, 56, of East McKeesport, including receiving stolen property, persons not to possess a firearm, and intent to distribute.
He was taken to the Allegheny County Jail. Online court records indicate he was unable to post bail.
