Traffic restrictions on Interstate 79 between the Carnegie and Heidelberg exits has fully reopened.
Highway traffic was reduced to one lane Monday morning because of a tractor-trailer crash, PennDOT said. Restrictions were lifted just before 1 p.m.
One person was transported from the scene in which a truck overturned on the highway around 5 a.m. and traffic was still reduced to one lane around 9 a.m., according to Nicole Haney, a PennDOT spokeswoman, and Allegheny County Department of Emergency Services spokeswoman Kasey Reigner. Produce was spilled on the highway.
Additional details were not available Monday morning.
