The Pittsburgh Zoo & Aquarium has been teasing “something big” coming to the wildlife park on social media, garnering hundreds of comments.

The first Facebook on post March 18 featured a set of pointy wide-set teeth. The comment section was full of hundreds of enthusiastic comments such as “If it is DINOURSAURS, I’M COMING!!!” and “Omg is Jurassic Park finally happening?!”

Details of the special limited-time exhibition called Dinosaurs! were posted online Wednesday, said Michael Schroeder, a zoo spokesperson.

Over 30 different animatronic dinosaurs that move heads and tails and make animal sounds, including roars, will be on display throughout the zoo grounds beginning April 1.

“This extraordinary journey through time allows guests to encounter some of the largest animals to ever walk the Earth,” the website said.

The zoo’s comment section was also flooded with speculations on whether the exhibit would feature the Carnegie Museum of Natural History’s T. rex replica, which formerly stood in Pittsburgh International Airport’s terminal before the $1.7 billion modernization project, which was completed in November.

“Is the old airport Dino getting relocated??,” one commenter said.

Schroeder said that unfortunately, the T. rex replica would not be making an appearance. However, he thought it would’ve been a fun addition.

Guests can expect to see several familiar dinosaurs such as the Stegosaurus, horned Triceratops, and lengthy-necked Apatosaurus, the website said.

Access is free with standard admission to the zoo.

“It should not be too scary for young children, though each child may experience the figures differently,” the website said.

The zoo will be offering several “sensory friendly mornings” this year. On May 13, July 22, and Aug. 15, starting 8 a.m. and lasting about an hour, the dinosaur figures will not move or make noise. This event takes place before the zoo’s regular opening time of 9:30 a.m.

The exhibit closes on Sept. 7.
