I Made It Mine! market
The Block Northway is hosting an I Made It Mine! Craft Market from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Feb. 3
The event will bring more than 100 crafters and artists to the The Block Northway’s South Corridor, 8013 McKnight Road.
Shoppers can expect to find a juried mix of exclusively handmade products, including 2-D art, clothing and toys for infants and children, bath and body products, ceramics, fiber art, glass art, homewares, jewelry, leather goods, pop culture and fandom gifts, pet treats and gifts, and wooden wares. Ready-to-eat and packaged food and beverages will also be available.
The family-friendly event is free and open to the public. Individually priced hands-on activities will be available for children.

Allison Park AARP meets
Allison Park AARP 3736 will hold its monthly meeting at 1 p.m. Feb. 8 at the St. Ursula Social Hall, 3945 Kirk Avenue, Hampton.
Entertainment is by Debbie Wagner, who will perform as “Cookie the Baker,” along with stories and other nostalgia, including a sing-along of songs from the 1950s and ’60s. For more information, call 412-486-7465.
Trib Total Media scholarship
Trib Total Media’s Scholarship for Diversity in Media, created in 2020, is open to minorities as defined by the Equal Employment Opportunity Program.
Eligible applicants must be current high school seniors planning to attend an accredited four-year college or university with a major in journalism, English writing or communications. Scholarship recipients each will receive up to $30,000 in scholarship funds awarded in annual installments of up to $7,500.
The recipient also will receive a summer internship at Trib Total Media and, upon graduation, an offer for full-time employment. The students will be required to remain in the approved course of study through graduation and complete summer internships with Trib Total Media each year of the program.
